We invite you to participate in this survey examining current clinical practices regarding oral switch therapy for paediatric infective endocarditis.
This survey is supported by ESGMATCH and ESGBIES study groups from ESCMID.
For the purposes of this survey, oral switch therapy is defined as the transition from intravenous (IV) antibiotic therapy to oral antibiotic therapy before completion of the planned antimicrobial treatment course.
The aim of this survey is to characterise current approaches to oral switch therapy in children with infective endocarditis, including patient selection, timing of the switch, antimicrobial regimens, and factors influencing clinical decision-making. The findings will help improve understanding of current practices and may inform future research and guideline development.
Participation is voluntary. All responses will be collected anonymously and treated confidentially. Please do not include any personally identifiable information in free-text responses.
The survey takes approximately 10–15 minutes to complete. For the best viewing experience, we recommend completing it on a computer or tablet.
Thank you for your valuable contribution to this study. Feel free to spread this survey in your network.
